Project: Go Genie

Alison from Pesky People, one of the attendees of today’s hack day, has asked me to put up information about the Go Genie project.

As Alison says, “I received funding from NESTA to build an accessibility platform that enables disabled and deaf people find access info online in one place called Go Genie including transport routes / data. As the event is very much about open data I’m keen to learn / network and throw the odd ‘what about our access’ and other suggestions around digital access for disabled people. I’m also seeking suitable developers to do the build so will come with some briefing info to distribute.”

You can download a PDF about the Go Genie project here, and watch this two minute video that illustrates how Go Genie might work on a website, which is taken from Pesky People’s YouTube channel.
